I am against the building of Highway 413. It is not needed and will only cause more congestion and urban sprawl.
No matter how many lanes are added to Highway 401- the congestion problem is not being solved with more lanes. We are doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. That is the definition of insanity
Time to handle congestion differently. Research how other cities such as London. Paris, Singapore are addressing traffic congestion.
We need to open Highway 407 and invest in convenient and reliable transit. We also have to build communities that support transit, not sprawl communities that are dependent on car transportation.
Also, allow the building of the missing middle in existing communities, so individuals have housing options.
