The Drive Clean Test should not be cancelled for Light duty vehicles because it is for the consumers' protection on resale cars.
If a car has an error code it can be cleared by the seller (or mechanic) and the buyer would not know there is a problem.
With the Drive Clean test for light duty cars, the problem has to be fixed before it passes the test.
In certain U.S States the Drive Clean was cancelled but a mandatory yearly Safety inspection was implemented instead.

Will there be compensation for the Drive Clean facilities that have spent a lot of money for this program with the government?
