To Whom it may concern,

I am commenting on behalf of our family business which I run with my father. My father is 83 years old and probably the oldest active commercial bait fisherman in the Province of Ontario. he has seen many changes in his time good and bad but he is happy to see that our rivers support a forage base (baitfish) after all these years. Our log books are testiment that the baitfish population is in pretty good shape and harvesting is just as good now as it was 20 years ago. We are seeing more events which lead to mass mortality, agriculture, urbal sprawl, municipalities with outdated sewage infastructure, importation of goods etc... The proposal as it stands is a Bandaid solution to very complex problems. the rightful government agencies have to STOP pretending they have good comunication and work together with industry to come up with a solution. These containment or management zones will result in our buisness of more than 47 years to go out of buisness for good. We have addapted and changed multiple times due to MNR policy in the past and every time suffered not only financial losses but damage to our buisness reputation. The zone isolation will result in 90% loss of our customer base. We will be forced with others to compete for a few sales in Toronto resulting in the de valuation of the price of our product.Southern Zone the Ministry of Natural Resources has wrote off all logic of trying to stop invasives and exotic species from the Great lakes basically opened everything up to go from Windsor to Ottawa? I think this is so wrong... I have given comment on behalf of OLBAA comment ID 209668 but wanted to include some of my Fathers thoughts and feeling as well Thank you..
