As a resident of Saul Ste Marie, ai have serious concerns about the environmental impact of this proposal. Huge percentages of benzo pyrene, benzene and sulphur dioxides will impact our city’s air quality immensely.
Two of these chemicals are declared carcinogenic by health canada! How can the residents be exposed to all of this ? In my household I already have a member suffering from allergy and asthma, what future does this city hold for people like us?
It is so disturbing that a simple article published in soo today informs us of what is being planned, even though it is such a serious issue !
