Acceptance of this proposal would be a big win for Ontario fisheries. Cormorants are a major predator of juvenile sport fish and are not, as far as I know, a prey source for any other predator. I have spent most of my life guiding in NW Ontario and would definitely vote yes to a Cormorant hunting season.
