We do not need more highways - we already have the underused 407 running a similar route to the proposed new highway.
To reduce congestion, we need more investment in alternatives to personal vehicle infrastructure.
Use this funding instead to increase go transit frequency on routes around milton and vaughn.
If the provincial government is intent on micromanaging individual cities infrastructure, create alternatives to car infrastructure, instead of removing bike lanes - give transit right of way, especially downtown toronto streetcars, and people will be incentivized not to drive cars.
