I feel strongly against the use of “poop bags” for horses being ridden on the trails. These bags were designed for carriage horses. Strapping a bag to a horses saddle restricts the horses use of their tail and most horses are not trained to accept such a device flapping around its backside.
Horse manure is not at all like dog feces. It’s mostly grass/hay and decomposes easily and quickly.
Please do not make this a requirement. Horses need their tails to shoo away insects.
