Natural Environment…

Natural Environment Designation is too far over-reaching. Many, many woodlots, orchards and residences' lawns have been proposed to be renamed "Natural Environment". If this policy goes through, tree cover in Perth County will never increase and most likely from what we've seen it will decrease. New plantings of orchards and woodlots are going to come to a halt as the new proposed rules and regulations will all but inhibit growth of tree cover in Perth County. We are totally opposed to Natural Environment Designation as it complicates matters and increases cost to landowners.
