I'm very concerned about a 2-year temporary redirect of sewer water to the West Channel! An area used by swimmers, rowers and paddlers and most important: Wildlife.

The Ford government is in a rush to push through the development of the Therme MegaSpa. As a result, they need to do a 2-year temporary redirect to the West Channel of a sewer system as it will interfere with the 10-acre landfill extension of the Therme MegaSpa development. The City already has a multi-year plan in place to deal with this issue properly but due to the timing of the contract with Therme, the Ford government and Infrastructure Ontario are pushing through their needs.
