I am extremely concerned…

I am extremely concerned that combining sewage outflow into our lake will have disastrous consequences, especially considering the proximity to our beaches, Toronto Island and Thommy Thompson Park. The construction and destruction onsite will cause significant pollution in the area- and on top of that- somehow the entire project is going through WITHOUT an environmental assessment. The Therme spa is being forced through with no transparency, without any foresight and no proper planning while costing tax payers billions of dollars. This proposal doesn't make any sense at all. It is the city's best interest that the entire project be cancelled immediately. Why is this project allowed to go through when the latest Auditor General Report exposed the project's many MANY flaws? It is shameful and infuriating that our city is willing to compromise our water quality which we depend upon.
