I am a citizen of Ottawa who is very concerned about climate change. Reducing fossil fuel use must be part of the Ontario energy plan. I would rather see our government encourage renewable sources like solar, wind and other new technologies. "Natural" gas is methane, one of the worst greenhouse gases. The increased intensity of severe weather events, heat waves and forest fires will ravage our province if we do not strive to reduce and eventually eliminate fossil fuel use. Please don't make Ontario an embarrassment on the world stage; please pay attention to this scientific reality.
