I am opposed to this project…

I am opposed to this project. As a result of this new sewage pipe, parts of our waterfront will be contaminated. This reverses efforts to clean up our beaches and swim destinations, significantly reducing access to natural water resources. The people of Toronto make use of these areas for recreation regularly. This sends the signal that the province does not care about the people of Toronto and its inhabitants. Investment in this project would much better be spent on hospitals and schools or building affordable housing.
