I would like to comment on…

I would like to comment on the proposal for an interim sewage outlet at Ontario Place to support the Therme Spa. It's disappointing to see this being proposed. The spa was not a priority on anyone's list but for Therme. We don't need to spend valuable tax dollars to dump raw sewage to Lake Ontario and then figure out a permanent solution after two or more years. There's also the risk that there won't be any funding afterwards to design and build a permanent solution.

We need clean water to protect the environment and the parks that border the lake. There are a lot of wildlife that need this too. This is not what a city that strives to be world class should be. This is not what the Ministry of Environment should be supporting.
