I am commenting on the proposal for an interim combined sewer to support development at 955 Lakeshore Boulevard (Ontario Place). I am strongly opposed to the proposal, which goes against decades of work by the City of Toronto to separate and replace combined sewers across the city to prevent the discharge of raw sewage into Lake Ontario.
Dumping raw sewage behind an enclosed break wall is highly irresponsible and dangerous. It threatens the water quality (and therefore, human health) in an area long-known for its public beaches and water sports recreation.

This sewer relocation proposal only benefits a single private sector initiative, and is not in the public interest. Please deny this permit.
