As an Ontarian and Toronto resident, I must voice my opposition to an interim combined sewer to support development at 955 Lake Shoore Boulevard at Ontario Place. I oppose to this proposal because it works against decades of careful development by the City of Toronto to separate and replace combined sewers across the city to prevent discharge of raw sewage into the lake. This discharge risks human health in terms of water quality at beaches, fishing and the integrity of the lake as an attraction for Canadian and international visitors.

The province has been derelict in their duty to hold consultations about this work with the general public, and I think this proposal only intends to benefit the private business interest of Therme Group in their aggressive annexation of the public land within Ontario Place.

The province MUST not move forward with this approval.
