I am 100% against the Proposed interim changes to the Endangered Species Act, 2007 and the proposal for the Species Conservation Act, 2025. The provincial government should not have the ability to remove species at their discretion. Also, the habitat definitions listed in the new proposal are extremely narrow. A company should not be able to start development after simply registering their project - nothing should start until full clarification regarding endangering species is fully determined.
Please do not move forward with this change. It will be extremely detrimental. Stop, Now.
