The idea that habitat is a static situation for wild animals is completely absurd. Wildlife has a very wide range of requirements in order to survive. Turtles, snakes and amphibians need access from one stage of their life to the next. An egg doesn’t have the same requirements as a tadpole or a newly hatched turtle.
Please stop tearing up the last remaining wild areas we have. I know that’s what this is about.
The current government sees wild areas as waste, perfect for paving over.
Wildlife deserves our support.
