These proposed changes are beyond short sighted and show the desire and intent to value and prioritize the interest of private companies and developers over the health of the land and the people.
I think it is a colossal mistake to change the endangered species act in these ways so that it is easier to develop or construct on land.
What we “gain” in the short term from more unaffordable housing we will loose in leaps and bounds for generations to come. Once a species is extinct, there is no chance at bringing them back. Why are we so willing to experience that? Every species we lose will negatively impact the ecosystem, the land, and humans. The risk is just not worth it.
