Considering the recent attack on the Greenbelt and the extension of the 413 highway which completely disregards all environmental protection suggestions, this latest bill comes at no surprise. It is a thinly veiled cash-grab to develop pristine and once protected lands, make developers richer, and obliterate what natural and critical wildlife Ontario has left. I wholeheartedly oppose the withdrawing of protection for endangered species and re-defining protections around them to suit the agendas of developers and industries who stand to benefit.
How, in what world, does cutting protection around wildlife HELP Ontario?
