What is the advantages of removing the environmental assessment?! By doing this, it is suggesting that the Environmental Assessment serves little merit or purpose. In this case for the proposed Dresden Landfill, no one person should have the authority to claim that they know that everything will be fine with 100's of trucks full of garbage a day and dumping it in the environment. It smells crooked, meaning that there are friends of people high up in government with this York1 organization, and they are finding a way to make this happen. How about build this near Toronto without an environmental assessment?! Who cares, you don't need one, right? It will be safe?!
