Hello/bonjour, I am a resident of Northern Ontario and do not approve of these changes to the Endangered Species Act in favour of the economy. The impact that the ESA has on housing and infrastructure is not proportionate to the changes being proposed. Additionally, protecting our endangered species and our environment helps to protect the future of the Ontario economy by preventing interruptions to the animal food chain and crops which humans consume. It helps to prevents catastrophes like wildfires and insect-borne illness pandemics. We must protect our environment and species if we wish to have a hope of a healthy economic future for our great province.
