This would be a terrible setback for environmental regulation in Ontario. Housing infrastructure should not conflict with basic environmental services and protections, especially given that density and sustainability should be the prime targets for housing policy. Ontario's natural biodiversity and beauty is one of our greatest assets as a province, and shortchanging that to build more inaccessible, unaffordable suburbs is ridiculous. We have enough housing infrastructure, we just need policies that give people access to it!!!
