I’m writing this because we in Dresden Ontario need help. The proposal for a dump site less then 1km outside of our town would put us in danger. We were told we would have an environmental assessment done to ensure that this was safe for out town and the watershed around the area. This property has a creek running through it that Leeds into the Sydenham River. This property is surrounded by wildlife, aquatic plants and other species. There are 80 that are on the endangered species list. The dump will not be safe for these animals. A great way to determine the environmental impact of this is by the environmental assessment process which was cancelled.
