This proposal is appalling. The protection of Canada’s environment should be one of our top priorities, as our biodiversity is one of our greatest treasures. The current process is tedious because it is important that we regard each decision that will impact our ecosystems with the utmost importance and care. We are entering the Anthropocene mass extinction already- we should be combatting it, not contributing to it.
