While I can appreciate the Ford government's zeal to get Ontario moving, I cannot support the bill that repeals the ESA. I am a supporter of progress, getting shovels in the ground and make Ontario functional, but I don't believe it should be at the expense of endangered species. There is a way to coexist with these protection acts, including the exploitation of the Ring of Fire. Cutting down on red tape is one way to do this without touching the ESA. I strongly believe we can and should keep Ontario wild.
