The proposal will result in highly toxic and contaminating materials in extremely close proximity to sensitive uses in the Town of Dresden, including schools, residential properties, senior living, parks, recreational spaces, and the economic hub of Dresden which relies on foot traffic, storefront shopping, and a corresponding development plan that would be in direct conflict with the York1 proposal. This is completely contrary to sound environmental planning steps, provides nothing towards mitigating health impacts, and will result in economic, social and health-related costs being borne by Dresden residents.
