Ensuring real due-diligence is conducted in order to protect the environment and wildlife in Ontario IS NOT a hinderance. We have nothing if we allow the Ford Government to bulldoze (literally and figuratively) through everything that makes Ontario unique and healthy and prosperous. Reducing turn-around times for these assessments and reports is very much within the Government and the OPS's power WITHOUT endangering native landscapes and animals. For example, adequate and timely hiring for the roles and branches that conduct these surveys and issue the reports. This would ensure an appropriate amount of personnel are available and ready to handle the workload, and provide insight and recommendations promptly. But it isn't *really* about the waiting and the Public Service red tape (that has worsened under the current government), is it?
