Premier Ford, you called an early election to give you a clear mandate to combat the autocratic leader of our southern neighbour. You got that mandate but the encroachment into the environmental protections for species at risk is a red line that cannot be crossed. The ability of your government to remove species from the protected list and redefine what habitat is for those species without the expertise/scientific data to do so in order to fast-track development is unconscionable. If this act proceeds your government will be met by the fullest efforts of protest from myself and other like- minded Ontarions who enjoy the environment and want our children and grandchildren to have the same chance to do so.
