I am strongly against this butchering of the Endangered Species Act. You might be trying to fast-track mining and infrastructure development but this includes ecologically sensitive and contested areas. You intend on doing this without proper environmental consultation or consent from Indigenous communities. Protecting species at risk is crucial for maintaining the health and stability of ecosystems, ensuring long-term human well-being, and preserving the planet's biodiversity. Each species plays a vital role in its ecosystem, and their loss can have cascading effects on the entire system. If this bill is proposed and followed through with it will have a negative devastating effect on the ability to protect species at risk. I urge you to not do this!
