I do not support these changes. Ontario’s wetlands, wildlife corridors, and habitat are crucial for maintaining the biodiversity that still remains.
In the face of climate instability, mass extinctions, and loss of diversity, protecting already challenged species at risk should continue to be a priority.
Due process with regards to impact on Indigenous lifeways, wildlife diversity, waterways and habitat corridors must be maintained. Profit and development without consideration of impact is, and has always been, disrespectful of Life, diversity and the well-being of future generations, of all species.
Slow down! And do it right!
