I am extremely against this bill. I think history will look back on this and see what a huge mistake it was, and it will cause irreversible harm to the environment and just a reminder- we are part of the ecosystem too, and we depend on it! Even if you don't care about the environment this feels like shooting ourselves in the foot as well.
THE DRIVING CAUSE OF DECLINE FOR ALL SPECIES AT IMMINENT RISK OF EXTINCTION IN NORTH AMERICA IS HABITAT LOSS. THIS LAW LEGALIZES IMMEDIATE WIDE-SCALE DESTRUCTION OF IRREPLACEABLE HABITAT. WE WILL SEE EXTIRPATIONS BECAUSE OF THIS, AND WE WILL SEE THEM QUICKLY.
