Housing and associated infrastructure might be a current hot topic, but reducing protections on the environment is NOT a solution. I can see the decline of species in MY LIFETIME. My children have never seen various plants and animals that were a part of my childhood.

We can build housing without putting any species at further risk. But the complicated process is there to serve the wildlife, not the developers. We need better solutions, not paving paradise.
