I was absolutely horrified to hear about these proposed changes. Your Government is ruining what Canada and Ontario are partly known for - beauty of nature and clean environment for species to thrive. Once you destroy a ecosystem or species it can never recover! To do so for the sake of short term profit is nothing short of disgusting and should be criminal. Doug Ford is not fooling anyone with his using tariffs and Trump as an excuse to plunder nature. He won't be happy until ON is just cookie cutter shoe-box houses and strip malls. Many people are rightly suspicious of potential kickbacks or future rewards for Government members and staffers who are pushing through these changes to the delight of greedy developers and FOREIGN interests in many cases.
