These changes threaten vital protections for Ontario’s endangered species and birds by removing science-based recovery strategies and reducing transparency and accountability. Prioritizing development over conservation risks irreversible harm to biodiversity. I urge the government to maintain strong, science-based protections to safeguard our natural heritage for future generations.
