I really do not think we should squander natural resources and destroy the natural species that inhabit our world with us. I am against removing protections for endangered species just so we can have more highways. The paperwork takes a long time for a reason. Just do the paperwork and stop complaining. It'll get done when its done, but once we kill a species off... its gone forever, there is no going back.
Each species is irreplaceable and to value the capitalist sense of "progress" over preservation of life and the world we live in, is absolutely abhorrent.
it is worth noting that there are hundreds of at risk species in this province alone and each of them need protection from human activity.
