it is absolutely appropriate to delay developments in order to FIRST assess local ecosystems and endangered animals. It is reckless to try to push through the Endangered Species Act just to build quicker.
Short term gain is NOT WORTH the long term loss of habitat, ecosystems, and animals. We should NEVER let environmental concerns be silenced in order to fill developers pockets.
