While there have been a couple of issues on which I have agreed with Doug Ford, this kind of thing is exactly why I can never vote for him or his party. A power grab by a provincial government that has already shown complete disregard for green spaces and the natural beauty of this province. Bird populations worldwide are already shrinking fast. And frankly, seeing so many "big projects" start under this gov't, go nowhere, or get done and result in failure, leaving the cities looking seedy. doesn't make anyone want the same thing happening to our beautiful countryside. This is crass and people see right through it; we know if someone hands the govt some cash, they'd let any species go extinct just to let some more failed condos go up.
