Please, NEVER reduce…

Please, NEVER reduce protections for any species. We enjoy a glorious array of fauna and wildlife only because of the existing protections in place, and we have already lost so many due to our own ineptitude. We are gifted in sharing this wondrous rock spinning through space - it is not ours alone, and we do not have the right to arbitrarily decide who or what deserves to exist on it with us. Without the full powers of all facets of our ecosystems, we will perish along with all other life in a slow, terrible slide. No one wants to get on that ride. PLEASE maintain and increase environmental protections, if only to serve our selfish selves, if nothing else. This is not a cinematic universe in which abhorrent decisions can be retconned with the snap of a gloved hand. If we lose anyone or anything, none of us win, and we're already facing catastrophic failure. Choose wisely. Please.
