I believe this bill will expediate building in the province, but at the cost of our biodiversity and ecosystems of this province. This bill highlights the lack of concern this government has with the well being of its citizens. Instead of building denser cities with accompanying mass transit to support movement, this government is choosing to cater to mass developers and cover the beautiful wild places of this province with concrete. For shame. We are stewards of this land, part of it, it is our responsibility to care for it, not play with definitions of "endangered" in order to destroy more of it.
This government needs to consider the welfare of future generations by protecting our lands and strengthening the laws that protect them, not weaken them. You cannot eat money, you cannot breath money. Open your eyes and strengthen laws that protect the invaluable ecosystems. Transition to a green economy (there's money to made there you know). Consider your great great grandchildren and make decisions that benefit them, instead of your bank books today.
