hi, it has been brought to my intention that the Ford administration is trying to empliment this bill that would fast track the building of mines and highways without the proper environmental studies. In our current climate crisis, this is absolutely unacceptable and cannot be allowed to go forward. if anything, we should strengthening these protections, not dismantling them. furthermore, any development or legislation that affects First Nations’ inherent or Treaty rights must have their free, prior and informed consent.
