I strongly oppose this bill, it gives sweeping powers to the government and developers to ignore the expertise of environmental and conservation experts, and ignores laws designed to protect the environment and indigenous rights. It seems like just another step in Ford’s mission to sell off Ontario’s green spaces and parklands to the highest bidders, regardless of the impacts on local habitats and communities.
