There has to be a better…

There has to be a better plan for the property near the town of Dresden than a waste landfill. To name a few reasons:

It is too close to the town, the cemetery, and to Molly's Creek that drains into the Sydenham River.

The amount of truck traffic that is planned is hazardous as the country roads have children getting on and off school buses. That many trucks would make the roads dangerous as farm machinery and slow moving wagons have to travel on the roads during planting and harvesting seasons.

If trucks came through our town , there are 2 schools, a funeral home, and the stores of our town along that route.

Finally, some of the materials that are mentioned to be landfilled here would be a health risk to our community. And the value of our homes and farms would drop.

Please consider the negative impact a landfill would have on our community and reject the planned project. Thank you.Consider teh negative impact
