The wildlife of Ontario, and Canada at large, is one of the most important assets we have, and are worthy of our protection and conservation. To hear that this is even being called into question is irresponsible, petty, and disturbing. I oppose Bill 5, and ask that it be rejected, as we have a responsibility to protect the environments we are surrounded by, not bulldoze them for faster economic gain. We rely on our habitats to sustain us just as much as we rely on modern infrastructure, and to erase them would be to erase an essential pillar of our society and communities. I urge you to oppose Bill 5, and think about the environment of Canada not as red tape, but as a vital part of our country that needs to be protected, not dismantled.
