I strongly oppose the proposed amendments to the Rebuilding Ontario Place Act.

This proposed amendment is not in the best interest of the people of Ontario and has been pushed forward to benefit the private sector at the expense of the public and environment.

Thousands of Ontarians have spoken out against the planned Ontario place redevelopment by raising valid concerns about the environmental destruction and poor planning that has plagued this project from its onset. Instead of addressing the valid concerns of the people of Ontario, the government is seeking to side step well established guidelines for development of this scale.

I adamantly oppose this proposal as it aims to deprive citizens of their rights in order to support a flawed decision made by the government.
