I strongly oppose the elimination of the Endangered Species Act in Ontario and elsewhere in Canada. Every year many species become extinct because we build and intrude on animals habitats. I don’t want my children and grandchildren live in a world where money is the only consideration. Surely, with some thought, we can build infrastructure around places that are important to endangered species. There is a lot of bare land that could be improved on for building without destroying wetlands and greenbelts. Where will our children go for recreation: to gyms and artificial playgrounds, never seeing real grass, trees or animals in the wild. Premier Ford, surely you know better than destroying part of the natural world! What will your grandchildren and great grandchildren think and say of you for doing this?
