Stop robbing the future for our children and grandchildren. No amount of money will compensate for an Ontario in which the essentials of life for all living beings is severely degraded-clean air, water and soil. Our children aleady face a diminished world where climate change and short term thinking policies and decision making such as Bill 5 deny them the future they deserve. It should be remembered that you -and your generation- benefited from the very protections you are now proposing to eradicate. Your track record is already tarnished with the Greenbelt fiasco-where you were caught on outright lies about your intentions for yet another series of vulnerable ecosystems. The apparent lack of understanding of the true “value” of these ecosystems beyond your political ambitions and monetary gain for a few (like yourself) at the expense of many demonstrates that you and your government have not changed, nor have you shown true leadership or demonstrated a forward thinking for a sustainable Ontario we can all benefit from.
