I strongly oppose Bill 5 because it guts essential environmental protections and undermines public participation. By exempting many infrastructure projects from environmental assessments and removing public rights of appeal, the bill silences communities and puts ecosystems at risk. Ontario needs stronger—not weaker—environmental oversight to protect our health, biodiversity, and future.
