I object this proposed bill…

I object this proposed bill and amendments to the Rebuilding Ontario Place Act 2023.
Why is Schedule 8 of the Protect Ontario by Unleashing our Economy Act, 2025, exempting any project in the development of Ontario Place from Part II of the Environmental Bill of Rights, 1993!?
Part II of the Environmental Bill of Rights specifically outlines MINIMUM levels of PUBLIC PARTICIPATION that MUST be met before the Government of ON makes decisions of environmental related and SIGNIFICANT proposals for policies.

This will eliminate public participation, along with informing the public about environmental activites and concerns.

This only benefits the private sector. Its not in public interest. Remove schedule 8 from the new Protect Ontario by Unleashing Our Economy Act, 2025
