The proposed changes to the endangered species act decimate an already fragile attempt at protecting nature. Proposing voluntary action to protect nature does not work; it allows developers to get away with building more projects with no accountability for consequences. In this time of increased climate change and destabilized natural environments, the last thing we should be doing is pushing more harmful environmental legislation. When will we care about the earth? When we're all dead?
