Premier Ford, Bill 5 is a reckless giveaway to industry at the expense of Ontario’s environment and future. Gutting the Endangered Species Act and weakening oversight on energy procurement isn’t “unleashing the economy” — it’s short sighted deregulation that puts ecosystems, Indigenous rights, and long term sustainability at risk. This bill prioritizes profit over protection, expediency over evidence, and silence over consultation. Ontarians didn’t ask for an economy fueled by environmental destruction. We demand real leadership, not backdoor deals that sell out our province’s natural legacy. I don’t support it
